OVERVIEW

Welcome to the 2025 Wollongong Oztag Seniors Competition at Centenary Park.
This senior competition runs year-round, kicking off in October for summer and April for Winter.
Games will be played Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings at Centenary Park in Cringila.
The season runs for 12 weeks, followed by a 2-week finals series. We allow for up to 2 washed-out rounds if required.

Registration Guide

  • Cost: $100 per player
  • Minimum Team Size: 12 players

  • Platform: NSW Oztag has moved to a new online registration system.

Please note: As part of the new system, all players must pay a $15 annual membership fee to Australian Oztag when registering for their first team each year.

KEY RULES & NOTES

  • Team Uniforms: All teams must wear matching numbered shirts by Week 4. A 1 try penalty per player out of uniform applies from Week 4 onward.
  • Official Oztag Shorts/Tights: Only official Australian Oztag gear is allowed – no homemade tags or League Tag gear.
    Shorts: $30
    Tights: $35
    Gear available for purchase at the venue each week.
  • Sign-On Process: All players must sign on at the canteen each week before playing. Failure to sign on may result in point deductions or loss of insurance cover.
  • Eligibility for Finals: Players must be registered in Round 1 to be automatically eligible. Players joining after Round 1 must play at least 4 games to qualify for finals.
  • Back-Up Players: Teams may use back-up players only to reach 8 players, and only if they are registered in the same season (equal or lower grade).
    Back-ups cannot be used for subs.
    Playing unregistered players will result in an automatic 5-0 forfeit.
    Report suspected breaches to staff during the match, not after.
