OVERVIEW

Welcome to the 2025 Wollongong Oztag Juniors Summer Season at Hollymount Park.
Our Thursday 16’s comps only run in the Summer season, kicking off in October.
Games will be played Thursday afternoons at Hollymount Park in Woonona.
The season runs for 12 weeks, followed by a 2-week finals series.

Registration Guide

  • Cost: $100 per player
  • Minimum Team Size: 12 players
  • Age Groups: 16 Boys, 16 Girls, 16 Mixed. Girls can play in Boys comps. You play in the age you turn this year. Players can play up in older ages.
  • Individual Registrations: Accepted – contact Andrew on 0402 390 686
  • Platform: NSW Oztag has moved to a new online registration system.

Please note: As part of the new system, all players must pay a $15 annual membership fee to Australian Oztag when registering for their first team each year.

KEY RULES & NOTES

  • Team Uniforms: All teams must wear matching numbered shirts by Week 4. A 1 try penalty per player out of uniform applies from Week 4 onward.
  • Official Oztag Shorts/Tights: Only official Australian Oztag gear is allowed – no homemade tags or League Tag gear.
    Shorts: $30
    Tights: $35
    Gear available for purchase at the venue each week.d in Round 1 to be automatically eligible. Players joining after Round 1 must play at least 4 games to qualify for finals.
  • Back-Up Players: Teams may use back-up players only to reach 8 players, and only if they are registered in the same season (equal or lower grade).
    Back-ups cannot be used for subs.
    Playing unregistered players will result in an automatic 5-0 forfeit.
    Report suspected breaches to staff during the match, not after.
  • Rep Players: A maximum of 4 current rep players are allowed per team. A current rep player is a player who played in the 2025 Junior State Cup or was named in the 2025 Junior Nationals team (shadows are only counted as a rep player if they went away and played in the tournament).
